Our requirements allow only the finest few to become Fulton County Police Officers. The selection process is rigorous. The Fulton County Police Department is one of only a handful of police departments to be nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA). The Fulton County Public Safety Training Center is one of the most advanced training centers in existence today.
As a Fulton County Police Officer, you will receive State mandated training through the Regional Law Enforcement Academy, and 12 weeks of Field Training with a highly trained and experienced Fulton County Police Field Training Officer.
